You should put a password on the server until you are sure how you want your server to play. Do this here and get the server running and you logging in. Thing is on the PingPerfect Configuration Page (yours may be similar) they have a good selection of get the server going in an easy to use page (Self Hosting I had ALL the settings). You can try the setting and test it but usually I would just stick with the Known settings that work (I pasted my changed/scrutinized ones below). Some settings are deprecated and some are not known if they really work or not. Do you want it a 5x easy to 60 snooze-fest (PvP stuff), Role Play is priority 2 or 3x Harvesting, More Brutal and Savage Combat? Write it down and think about it.
